Well, exciting things happened at our home last night. As reported by Jewel, "I officially lost my loose tooth" translation - the tooth that was terribly loose on the front bottom row of ther jaw came out last night. This tooth was so loose she could push the tooth with her tongue so far it extended out of her mouth so I got a hold of it and with two quick pulls it was out. The tooth fairy brought her 4 quarters- a whole dollar so she is very excited!! She now has a terribly cute "Cindy Brady" lisp and commented how she can't say certain words now without "sounding funny". I saved the tooth for sentimental reasons and because it contains her D.N.A.-never know when I might need that.
Very proud of my grandma! At the school where my sister teaches my grandmother is volunteering. She listens to elementary students as they read and gives them prompts as needed; now she is in her late 70's (although she looks much younger if you ask me) so she could be home eating bon bons-no wait, no she can't she's diabetic now-well- she could be eating sugar-free Jell-O cubes and sitting around, but she is choosing to share her passion (yes it really is a passion she is a voracious reader-she had book shelves built into the walls of her basement to hold some of her books) of reading with a different generation. I just think it is terribly cool. Kudos to my sister, Gretchen, for arranging it.
That's all for today. My sinuses are acting up, but oh well..
Congrats to my younger sister-in-law on yet another A on her stat test! Good job Sara
Have a sunny day.
Smiles,
Jennifer
