Here is my new baby cousin. Yes, she is my 1st cousin and a full cousin. My dad's youngest bro is younger than me; this is his baby. Her name is Abby Ann. Her middle name she shares with her maternal g'ma who recently passed on. She is gorgeous and we love her! I didn't get to hold her yet, but I will soon.

Here are pics from Thanksgiving. Cannon with G'ma Kris. Addison, Jewel and Ashley. I stole these pics from my talented sister-in-law Sara. I don't have a digital and she is so faithful about sharing pics. We had a really good time. The whole wheat rolls and sweet potatoes were my fav. I almost forgot to leave cheese off of Sara's portion of the corn casserole I made.
anyhoo..
They are such a cute bunch of children (oh and Kris too).

Grandma Rose's girls. Here is a gorgeous pic of most of Grandma Rose's great-granddaughters. I am missing the beloved youngest of the girls, Addison. Left to right: Amber, my Jewel, Ashley, Jenna, Jordan, and Kaitlyn. Amber and Ashley belong to Bill (Frank's bro) & Katie, Jenna belongs to Diane (Frank's 1st cousin), Jordan belongs to Michael (Frank's 1st cousin) and Darci, and Kaitlyn belongs to Diane.

I understand that I irritate certain people by verbalizing my worries about them. When I truly love a person, I worry about them it is not a scrunity of their competence, but just the way I'm wired. My mother drove me BONKERS while I was pregnant with Cannon with her worrying-I yelled at her. Frank told me she was just concerned. Later I saw her worry the same way about my brother's wife (during her 3rd pregnancy). When Mary commented to me she noted how worried my mom was about her if finally dawned on me that worrying and expressing concern is how my mother shows her love or when a person knows she truly loves and accepts them. Kinnda funny when I realized it took that many years for my mom to love Mary in that close way, but thats just the way my mom is. I'm afraid I have a bit of her in me. Okie-no biggie I think everyone who knows me understands my intent even if I drive them nuts during the process.
A HUGE sorry to my in-laws for me neglecting their anniversary. I even saw my mother-in-law yesterday, but their special day didn't dawn on me until later in the afternoon; I'm typically really good about honoring their special day with a card, gift or at least a phone call. I failed. I'll try to make it up to them later on; they've been a huge emotional and physical support to us esp. this past year with the house and all. anyway...
Smiles to you all.

I so need to drop film off at Target and then upload some pics for you all. Looking forward to this weekend. My folks-in-law will have the kiddies for awhile this weekend. We haven't had a "date" in a long time; it seems though prob. not that long of a time. Good day so far at work-very productive. I was able to quit taking one of my new meds which caused serious fatigue and dizziness -I was so sleepy at 6:30 last night I laid down for awhile. I have a life to lead, so I went off the med. I stayed on it a full week like the dr said, still having some struggle with my auto immune dis.,but not as much as before. Today I have energy-it feels SO TERRIFIC!
Hum.. my cutie pie husband packed my lunch for me-gave me 3 slices of pizza for my lunch-ate 2 at lunch time and 1 for afternoon snack. They were thin sliced pizza with only sauerkrat and mushrooms, but still I ate all 3 pieces. Note to self, only left the darling pack my lunch when our leftovers are low-cal and low-fat. NO that was terrific of him; I appreciate it a lot. I was very HUNGRY!!!
better work.
Love,
Me

Hum.. lets see. Had parent/teacher conferences, both kids doing very well.
Jewel has "the crude" as my friend calls it, but doing better every day. This morning her voice didn't sound mucky at all.
Frankie hooked the computer up to internet, but I've yet to have a turn on it (no surprise there 'eh?)
My friend, Sarah who had the stroke, is making slow progress. She is still deficit some fine motor skills, some taste buds aren't working, and she has numbness and tingling on her left side. The drs did allow her to return home so she is very thankful! Praise the Lord!
Frank said it was okay to buy Jewel Full House season 8 when it came out yesterday. He had purchased a sweatshirt that was a little spendy for Cannon-it has their school name and logo emblazzened on it. However, Cannon desperatley needs big roomy sweathshirts so it was a need-not a school logo one, but a need. I told Jewel come Christmas time when she doesn't get a lot in presents to remmeber her Full House gift. "Oh Mommy I will, I will". Jewel squeeled with delight; Cannon consented to watching a few episodes and even he laughed.
Cannon is such a typical pre-teen. He still laughed at the silly kid jokes, but blushed or made comments when "hot" babes would show up on the screen.
tee hee.

We still do not have intenet hooked up at the new house. If I am terrible about responding to emails or posting it soon should get better. Well that is if I can figure out a way to remove these two men I live with that seem to be mislead into believing their rear ends are velcroed in front of the computer.

Cannon did fairly well in the chess tourney. He didn't win a top prize, but won a match, learned a lot, and had a great deal of fun. This is his 1st official year playing and was his 1st tournament. He has never been coached before or had much opportunity to play. so although he said he was disappointed in himself, I wasn't b/c he had a terrific attitude and did win some (others during warm-up, but ob they don't count).

Please continue prayers for my friend, Sarah H., who had a stroke froma blood clot that was a complication of her C-section. She is only 36 years old.

Love to you all,
Jennifer
